This assignment, developed as part of a grant writing management class, involves crafting a comprehensive proposal for La Casa de Don Pedro’s fictional Empowered Renters program, aimed at supporting renters in Newark, NJ. The proposal outlines the program’s objectives, implementation strategies, and evaluation plans, with a focus on addressing the rental crisis in the city. Through this project, I applied the competency of analytical methods, utilizing data-driven analysis to identify community needs, assess program effectiveness, and design measurable evaluation tools. By leveraging statistical and qualitative methods, such as pre- and post-surveys and financial literacy assessments, I was able to structure a robust framework for assessing program impact. This process honed my ability to critically analyze data, make informed decisions, and ensure that grant proposals are both strategic and responsive to community needs.
