Updates (4/4/20): Orders for various PPE have just been placed! Thank you to our amazing donors and volunteers. And thank you to Matheus Peulen for creating our new logo!

Check out our recent features on the Philadelphia Inquirer, Medium, and KYW News Radio (below)!

We also have a team of students working on an initiative to provide aerosol boxes, free of charge, to the local providers. These boxes are essentially acrylic cubes with arm holes and are placed over a patient's head during intubation to limit aerosolization of COVID particles. They can be reused thousands of times to keep doctors, nurses and techs safer during high-risk procedures. So far we have ordered and begun distribution for 40 of these boxes, with the hope to eventually provide several aerosol boxes to every ED and ICU in the city.

Update (3/30/20): Check out our feature on Good Morning Philadelphia on Fox29!

Thank you to CBS Sports Radio's Zach Gelb (Twitter @ZachGelb) for sharing the cause!

Responses from the Community:

"Greatest respect for working to secure all those masks. My friend just told me that his oncologist friend in NY was sent to work on the COVID unit without a mask - Zero. Thankful for people like you who are dedicating you time and energy to this effort. Seriously one of the only things keeping me bright is hearing stories of people helping or knowing of people helping.

I feel like I can sleep a little better at night knowing I have what to fall back on, so I don’t end up in the scary situation above (currently asking my friend about said doctor and how I can get something to him, because that’s just terrifying)." - Anonymous RN
