Good Morning MCC Crews!

We've got MCC Venturing Rendezvous right around the corner and we can't wait to see you there! But first things first, you've got to register!

If you don't know, Rendezvous is a yearly, weekend long event run by the VOA, this year we’ve planned games, team building events, water sports, COPE and climbing, shooting sports, and more. It's a great chance to meet the local crews, ships, and other troops, and maybe have a little friendly competition too. Think of it as an all-access pass to the programs at Camp Grimes, with a chance to meet a ton of new friends.

Now, Rendezvous is usually a Venturing exclusive event, but this year we've determined to open it up to 14+ Scouts BSA patrols, and Sea Scout Ships, so we'd like to get as many attendees as possible to have the best time we can!

Rendezvous is scheduled for May 13th - 15th, we have a price of $35 for youth and $30 for adults with a deadline of May 9th.

We want this Rendezvous to be the best it can be - and that means having activities that you want! Below there's a link to register! Fill it out ASAP so we know you’re coming, and please share it with your troop/crew/ship members too! You can use the attached flyer to share info. We want this to be a great Rendezvous for all of our participants!

Good news! Mecklenburg County Council Rendezvous is coming up!

Rendezvous is a yearly, weekend long event run by the VOA, at it have games, team building events, water sports, COPE and climbing, shooting sports, and more. It's a great chance to meet new friends in crews, ships, and troops, and hey maybe there's a little friendly competition too. Think of it as an all-access pass to the programs at Camp Grimes, with a chance to meet a ton of new friends.

This year it's open to all Venture Crews, Sea Scout Ships, and older Boy Scout Patrols (14+), - both from in council and out! We'd like to get as many attendees as possible to have the best time we can!

See you at Rendezvous!

Coming up on January 22nd through the 23rd we will be having our Council Venturing Training Weekend at Belk Scout Camp! This is an opportunity for your Venturers to get trained in all the usual rank advancement training, as well as a few exclusive trainings not traditionally offered!

The event will begin at 8:15 AM on Saturday, and run until 10:30 AM on Sunday, but you do not need to stay the whole time, only for the trainings you sign up for.

We highly recommend encouraging attendance to your crew as it is an amazing opportunity to get a lot done. Outside of the training events, we will also be hosting various awesome COPE games between training sessions, and there will be a ton of opportunities to meet other crews!

You and your crew members do have the option of staying overnight at Belk, there will be access to a bathhouse, as well as provided meals on Saturday night and Sunday morning, but do keep in mind the current temperatures - it will be extremely chilly.
