For our CBL Project, our class partnered with Kristen Muñoz from Moon Girl Glass located in Marshall, North Carolina. Students got to attend a glass blowing class on April 22-23, 2025, where they learned about traditional glass blowing and got to create their own art piece. At this event, students were featured in a national magazine article about healing after Hurricane Helene. We are so grateful to Ms. Muñoz for this opportunity!

A Word from Kristen Muñoz

It is not what I do but rather who I am that determines the quality of my life. I center my mind on the love in my heart that I might be a beam of light to whomever I meet today. I need not worry what to do or say for love will guide my thoughts and actions. My highest function and greatest mission is simply to be in any moment the person I am capable of being.

Remember who you are and where you come from. You are the light of the world. You are love. If every thought creates form on some level, why not make them good ones?
