Fair Share Payment Information for 2018-2019
The county does not financially support the marching band. The Fair Share Payment (FSP) help cover the cost of running a high quality, successful, and competitive music program at the high school level. The fees per ensemble are based on our past history costs to run each group and are re-evaluated during every budget cycle.
FSPs provide the following:
- Music licenses for the music your students perform
- Instrument maintenance for program owned equipment
- Transportation to competitions
- Entrance fees for competitions
- Consumable materials for drumline and colorguard
- Equipment repairs
- Uniform tailoring
2018-2019 Schedule of FSP:
- $150 Marching Band
- $ 25 Concert Band
- $ 25 Orchestra
- $ 50 Jazz Band
- $ 50 Steel Drum Band
- Pay early discounts are available
FSP can be paid in full, using an auto installment plan over 9 months, or by choosing a deposit amount. Students must be in good standing to fully participate in music activities. Good standing means fully paid, participating in a payment plan, or other arrangements between the parent, student, and music director.
