Workshop on Design Thinking and Innovation.

18th September, 2022 DIU CPC Organized a workshop on Design Thinking and Innovation.

The speakers, Abrar Ahmed Abir (Digital Product Manager, Banglalink), Mehfuj Ahmed Anik (Developer Evangelist, Applink), and Labib Bin Rahman (Developer Evangelist, Applink), were giving detailed ideas and full guidelines on Design Thinking and Innovation.

Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan (Head, Department of CSE, Daffodil International University) started the workshop with a welcoming speech. Saiful Islam(Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Daffodil International University, Convenor of DIU CPC) and Mr. Md Umaid Hasan (Lecturer, Department of CSE, Daffodil International University, Advisor of JCIC wing DIU CPC) were also present at the workshop as our guests.

A fantastic program concluded with an interactive Q&A session between the speakers and the motivated students.

Session on "Google I/O Extended 2023"

The session began with a warm welcome extended by esteemed figures in the field, including Head (In-Charge) Professor Dr. Sheikh Rashed Haider Noori, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Mr. Saiful Islam (Assistant Professor), Md. Ferdouse Ahmed Foysal (Lecturer), and Mr. Rahmatul Kabir Rasel Sarker (Lecturer) graced the event. Mr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam (Senior Lecturer) informed the vote of thanks.
The session focal point was the enlightening keynote delivered by Abu Anwar MD Abdullah (The Flutter Way, Creator Google Developer Expert Flutter & Dart), Hasan Abdullah (Brain Station 23, Technical Lead), Abdullah Al Hasan (TigerIT, Security Solution Specialist), Sanower Abedin Tamjit (MI-C3 International Ltd., Sr. Data Engineer), Md. Mehedi Hasan (Jamuna Group, Head of IT), Riadul Islam (Teamexus Solutions Ltd., Software Engineer), and Asifur Rahaman (Technology and Business Solution Ltd., Software Engineer).

Community development project called "Engaging University Students to Reduce Learning Gap During Covid19 at The Community Level.

Daffodil International University and Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia have partnered up for a new community development project called "Engaging University Students to Reduce Learning Gap During Covid19 at The Community Level." This joint collaboration, initiated by World University Association for Community Development (WUACD), aims to reduce the learning gap of Ashulia, Savar area’s children by empowering youth DIU students.
The project aims to provide free education in the evening shift to ensure that all students receive quality education. We believe in empowering youth students with skills that will broaden the child's learning experience, including the development of social, cognitive, cultural, emotional, and physical skills.
We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children in our community and helping them thrive despite the challenges of the pandemic.
