ABOUT ME

My name is Md. Tazrian Alam. My Hometown is in Patharghata,Barguna,Barishal. Due to my fathers job i grew up in Chatkhil,Naokhali. Currently i live in Mirpur-1,Dhaka,

I am studying in Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil International  University. I passed SSC and HSC from Chatkhil PG. Govt High School & Chatkhil Panchgaon Mahbub Govt. College. My hobby is doing Voluntary work, doing social work, participating in cultural activities.

I have been associated with Bangladesh Scouts since 2013. Currently working as a rover scouts’ member of Bangladesh Scouts. We have been working on various programs including a vaccination program, a plastic exclusion program to protect the environment, work time program.

I participated in the vitamin A+ campaign as a member of Bangladesh Scouts and volunteered for child immunization. I participated in awareness activities during covid 19 and made everyone aware of what to do in covid 19. in my area. I participated in the Plastic Tide Turner badge program to reduce the use of plastic to protect the environment. We make everyone aware of the use of plastic here. The Plastic Tide Turners Challenge (PTTC) is a United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) led initiative that educates young people around the world about plastic pollution, giving them the tools to change their personal behavior, inspire their communities, and create a better future for people and planet

I earned the Messenger of Peace badge by working on the Messenger of Peace program. The Messengers of Peace (MoP) program is an initiative by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, which along with the Scouts of the World Award and the World Scout Environment Programs form the Better World Framework program. Also, I am doing various social development work in my area.

I worked on a community development project for 6 months through my university. This project was about Engaging University Students to Reduce the Learning Gap During COVID-19 at The Community Level. It is a joint community development project volunteer activity between Universitas Airlangga and Daffodil International I University with grand from the World University Association for Community Development (WUACD).
