The ranks are:
Leader _ Leads the tribe, makes the important decisions, and often have a second job when not leading.
Advisor _ Helps the leader make decisions, replaces the leader when is absent, and inherits the rank. Also often has another job.
Healer _ Expert in herbs, making remedies, curing any wounds and illnesses of both,clanmates and tamed dinos. Calm and intelligent.
Explorer _ They roam the island in small groups or alone, studying the terrain, scrutinizing threats, hunting, and gathering resources and information. Versatile and agile.
Guardian _ The strongest warriors are those who protect the rest of their clans, their lairs, and their deprivations from carnivores, invading cats, and any possible threat. Strong and brave.
Handler _ They care for and feed the tamed dinos and train them, raise dodos to lay eggs (It is not allowed to eat those dodos), grow edible berries, and provide for the tribe without leaving the camp. Responsible and hardworking.
Crafter _ They build tools, fences to enclose animals, structures and spears, drums and armor, and they make and invent whatever the tribe needs. Great ingenuity and creativity.
This tribe of cats is capable of using simple tools made from stones, sticks, vines, and the remains of the animals they hunt (nothing beyond the Neolithic to compare with humans). These skills, along with their size (bigger than common cat), teamwork, strategy, and organization, allow them to survive on an island plagued by beasts from another era.
They organize themselves into more specific tasks or jobs tailored to each cat's abilities, and each cat has one or more of these creatures from another era as companions to assist them in their tasks. Companios have a very important rol in this tribe of cats, there can't be a cat without companion.
These cats don't have a generalized concept of gods, spirits, life after death, or anything like that. Since the vast majority of them weren't born into the Clan, but came from the sea, they bring varied beliefs and customs, but also a wide variety of knowledge to contribute to the Clan.
There are three large buildings in the territory, supposedly part of ancient human ruins that are still standing and functioning. These are three immense, elongated structures pointing to the sky, like shining, differently colored obelisks (blue, red, and green) at widely separated points on the island. Most cats consider these obelisks to be places of worship, where they can communicate with or be closer to their ancestors, spirits, or gods.
