Md. Ahasan Habib is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hanyang University ERICA, Republic of Korea. He is also a Scientific Editor at Elsevier, specializing in Materials Science and Energy-related Journals. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Kwangwoon University. Previously, he earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics from Khulna University, Bangladesh. His expertise lies in materials science and chemical engineering. His several key areas include the fabrication of electrocatalysts for hydrogen energy generation and electrochemical water splitting, the synthesis of hybrid nanomaterials for advanced optoelectronic devices such as photodetectors, Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) and biomolecule detection-based biosensors. He serves as a reviewer for several internationally recognized journals. His current research is centered on rational catalyst design, biomass conversion, membrane electrode assembly (MEA) stability, energy storage devices and ammonia cracking.
