#️⃣What is Preposition?

Definition:

যে সকল শব্দ সাধারণত noun বা pronoun এর সামনে বসে noun বা pronoun এর সাথে sentence এর অন্যানো শব্দের সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে তাদেরকে preposition বলা হয়। 

Preposition is a word governing, and usually preceding, a noun or pronoun and expressing a relation to another word or element in the clause, as in ‘the man on the platform’, ‘she arrived after dinner’, ‘what did you do it for ?’. 

A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence. 

Types of Preposition:

A common classification includes prepositions of time, place, direction, and manner.

• About -সম্পর্কে।

I want to more about the map of Bangladesh. 

• Above -উপরে।

The result was above my expectations. 

• Across -মধ্যে।

She reached out from across the room to greet me. 

Is she taking to you across the river? 

• After -পরে।

We met after 2 month.
