General Itinerary
The following is the general schedule. Some students may have negotiated a modified schedule, that will be listed in your official acceptance letter if applicable:
August 1: Arrival flight to airport closest to the camp.
August 1 to 7: Mini-Traveling Camp
August 7 to 22: Homestay with Host Family.
August 22: Departure to country of origin.

Age requirement: Between 18 and 21 years old*
Applicants younger than 18 years old may be accepted, subject to very limited host family availability (any volunteer interacting with participants under 18 must go through MD4 Youth Protection Policy Certification )

Camp fee: $700.00 USD

Prospective students should complete the linked application and email to (without spaces)

A complete application packet should include:
Completed application form, preferably typewritten, endorsed by your local sponsoring Lions club and District YCE chairperson. Signatures can be electronic, embedded images, or provided separately via a separate scanned signature page.
Passport photo and family photo
Valid passport and authorization to travel to the United States
International insurance card
Introduction letter to prospective host family
If accepted, further information and instructions on payment will be provided via email.
