Program Summary

• Age requirement: Between 18 and 21 years old*

  • Applicants younger than 18 years old may be accepted, subject to very limited host family availability (any volunteer interacting with participants under 18 must go through YPP screening)

• Official language: English

• Max participants: 30

• Camp fee: $600.00 USD

General Itinerary

The following is the standard schedule. Some students may have negotiated a modified schedule, that will be listed in your official acceptance letter if applicable:

• July 14: Arrival flight to airport closest to assigned host family

• July 14-28: Host family stay. Itinerary during that time will be set by the host family or district

• July 28: Travel to camp, by car from Northern California, or by flight to SFO from Southern California

• July 28-August 1: Camp San Francisco (Napa, CA and South San Francsico, CA)

• August 1: Travel from camp and departure flight from SFO

Alternative schedules:

• July 22-28: Shorter host family stay, then joining with the standard schedule above.

• August 1-August 8: Host family stay. Itinerary during that time will be set by the host family or district. Will not join with the standard schedule above.
