Mr. Md. Reaz Mahamud completed his M.Sc. in Nutritional Science and Food Technology from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh, and earned his B.Sc. in Nutrition and Food Engineering from Daffodil International University. He is currently pursuing his Ph. D. in the International Doctoral Program in Agriculture (IDPA) at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan.
Prior to his Ph. D. studies, Mr. Mahamud served as Assistant Technical Officer in the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE) at Daffodil International University from 15th September 2017 to 5th October 2024. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Public Health at DIU. Additionally, he served as a Social Educator for people with intellectual disabilities at Its Humanity Foundation, Bangladesh.
His key research interests include: Food Microbiology, Proximate Analysis of Food Parameters, Clinical Nutrition, Food Processing, Food Preservation, Food Safety etc.
Mr. Mahamud has approximately 5.5 years of teaching experience in laboratory courses, 8 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant, and 1.5 years of experience in administrative roles in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS) at DIU. His current research focus centers on sustainable agriculture in Bangladesh.
