This project showcases my leadership and hands-on technical expertise in deploying an innovative, real-time environmental monitoring solution for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) in Bangladesh. It is a collaborative initiative with a2i and the Department of Environment (DOE), under the supervision of DHII.
As the Technical Project Coordinator for the PANI Project at DHII, I served as the central point for both technical design and project execution. I led the system architecture and field deployment strategy, making key decisions on sensor integration, cloud communication, and calibration logic. I was responsible for aligning project goals with stakeholder expectations while ensuring the prototype's feasibility and functionality in real-world factory environments.
The system was successfully installed and tested at two factory sites. It demonstrated real-time monitoring capability across a few critical water quality parameters. The online calibration feature ensured consistent accuracy by self-adjusting based on periodic lab test data. The project not only enhanced ETP compliance and operational transparency but also gained recognition for its innovative approach and potential for large-scale adoption.
