This project aims to control a single home appliance remotely using a TV remote, IC, IR sensor, transistor, voltage regulator, and relay module. The project utilizes infrared ray (IR) communication to receive signals from a TV remote and decode them to control household appliances. The IC acts as a decade counter to sequence through the appliance, while the relay is used for switching the appliance on and off. This project provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for remote appliance control without the need for complex microcontrollers like Arduino.

Attendance systems are commonly used systems to mark attendance in schools, colleges, business organizations, and offices. From marking attendance required accurately and registering to using high-tech applications and biometric systems, these systems have improved significantly. In this project, we used the R305 fingerprint module, DS3231 RTC module, 5V buzzer, 16/2 LCD, 4 push buttons (for enroll, delete/ok, up & down, respectively), and Arduino to take and keep attendance data and records. By using a fingerprint sensor, the attendance system enables the user to track the working hours and late arrivals, early departures, time taken on breaks, and absences. However, the advanced version of this project is now the IoT Biometric Fingerprint Attendance System, which has faster and better performance.

This project is about how we can control the speed of a DC fan using a temperature sensor, which is known as a thermistor. In this project, we used an IC-LM741, a 10k potentiometer, a 10k thermistor, a 5V power supply, 47-ohm and 4.7k resistors, a DC motor (fan), and an NPN transistor IN4002. When the temperature is increased above the room temperature, the resistance of the thermistor reduces, and the voltage at non-inverting pin 3 of the op-amp becomes higher than the inverting pin 2, so the op-amp output pin 6 will become HIGH, and the transistor will be ON (because when the output of an op-amp is HIGH, the voltage will flow from the collector to the emitter). Under these conditions, the NPN transistor allows the motor to start. Again, when the temperature of the thermistor returns to the normal condition, the fan will automatically turn OFF. This circuit is used for cooling the car engine and cooling pads for a personal computer as well.

The following project details pertain to half adders and full adders. An adder is a digital logic circuit used in electronics to perform the addition of numbers. It primarily consists of XOR and AND gates, where the XOR gate calculates the sum, and the AND gate generates the carry. The half adder circuit has two inputs, A and B, which add two input digits to produce a carry and a sum. In contrast, the full adder circuit has three inputs: A, B, and C, allowing it to add three input numbers and generate both a carry and a sum. Binary adders, found in the forms of half adders and full adders, are arithmetic circuits designed to add two binary digits together. They utilize statistics and logic gates to perform binary digital addition effectively.
