This MBA thesis explores how the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry addresses environmental sustainability beyond formal certifications. While certifications like OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and ISO 14001 are widely used as indicators of environmental responsibility, this research critically examines whether they truly reflect long-term commitment and impact. Through a combination of case studies, interviews, and industry analysis, the study identifies key drivers, challenges, and gaps in sustainable practices—highlighting what genuine environmental leadership looks like in the RMG sector.
INTERNSHIP AFFILIATION REPORT ON “Human Resource Management Practices of Global Labels
This report is the outcome of my BBA internship at Global Labels (S.A.E), where I gained hands-on experience in the core functions of Human Resource Management. The study highlights key HR practices such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and employee relations within the organization. It also provides insights into how Global Labels aligns its HR strategies with business objectives to foster a productive and compliant workforce. This experience offered practical exposure to real-world HR operations and enhanced my understanding of strategic people management in a corporate setting.

This paper examines the performance appraisal system within the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector, focusing on KM Apparel Knit (Pvt) Ltd. The study evaluates how the organization designs and implements appraisal methods, assesses employee performance, and links evaluations to rewards and development. It also explores the effectiveness and challenges of current practices, providing recommendations for enhancing fairness, transparency, and employee engagement. This case study reflects the critical role of performance management in improving productivity and motivation in a labor-intensive industry.
