Meet Mr. Dennis (Mickey) Rupp (Assistant Coach)
This will be Coach Rupp's third year as a Manheim Central coach. Coach Rupp graduated from Columbia High School, and furthered his education at East Stroudsburg University and Steven's Tech. Coaching runs deep in his DNA, with 17 years as a wrestling coach, 5 years coaching baseball at Columbia, 3 years as an assistant varsity football coach at Eastern York, and a current position as the JV baseball coach at Eastern York. When he's not on the field or in the gym, he can be found spending time with his wife of 18 years, Lorna, his children, Rachael, Aaron, Erika, and Lauren or his 3 grandkids, Devin, Ayden, and Petyon.
Meet Mr. Justin Barbush (Assistant Coach)
Justin Barbush continues as a volunteer coach. No stranger to Baron Wrestling, Justin was a district champion and a PIAA 6th place finisher for Manheim Central. After graduating from Manheim in 1992, he continued his wrestling career at Elizabethtown College, twice earning Division III All-American status before graduating in 1996. Justin returned to his alma mater as the Barons' head coach from 1999-2005, compiling a seven-year record of 63-45. He is the Vice President, Operations at Utility Keystone Trailer Sales. Justin and his wife, Angie, live in Manheim with their children, Hannah, Maddy and Brett.
Meet Mr. Connor Sheehan (Assistant Coach)
Connor is beginning his second year as an assistant coach for the Baron wrestlers. In 2014, Coach Sheehan graduated from Solanco High School, where he earned 2 PIAA AAA States medals - 2nd in 2013 and 3rd in 2014. After graduation he took his talents to wrestle and golf at Millersville University. He graduated MU with a degree in Biology and began his teaching career as a 9th grade science teacher at Manheim Central High School.
Meet Mr. Mike McCauley (Strength Coach)
Coach Mac is in his fourth year with the Manheim Central wrestling program. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married 35 years, are retired educators and live with their 4th golden retriever, Kody. He has coached baseball at F&M and served as a pitching coach for Elizabethtown College and Manheim Township. Following his years in baseball, he became the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Manheim Township wrestling team.
