Google Forms: Create as many questions as you want with options for drop-down choices, standard multiple-choice, short answer, paragraph, scale, check boxes, etc. You can even create digital escape rooms and multi-tiered assessments with Google Forms. The best part is that the Google Form collects all data into a Google Sheet that you can review. The form will immediately tell you the percentages of students who excelled or struggled on individual questions.
Kahoot: A game-based classroom response system that lets you create quizzes using internet content.
QuizIzz: Guides you through designing quizzes and lets you include students in the quiz-writing process. It also holds student performance data in real time.
Socrative: Uses exercises and games to engage students with a topic.
EdPuzzle: Helps you use video (your own, or one from Khan Academy, YouTube, and more) to track student understanding. You can create your own multiple-choice or short-answer questions and enter a key. You can also prevent students from skipping through the video so you can make sure they are staying on pace.
Flipgrid: Lets students use 15-second to 5-minute videos to respond to prompts. Teachers and peers can provide feedback.
Survey Monkey: Helpful for online polls and surveys.
Padlet: Provides a blank canvas for students to create and design collaborative projects.
Pear Deck: Lets you plan and build interactive presentations that students can participate in via their smart device. It also offers unique question types and it pairs with Google Slides.
