Box Tops for Education

Whether you order groceries for delivery or pickup, shop through your store’s app, request an email receipt at checkout, OR EVEN EAT OUT, you can earn for your school no matter where you shop.

A few older packages may still have traditional Box Tops clips on them. If any unexpired physical clips get turned in at our school, it’s your job to bundle and submit them so they count toward our school’s earnings check. See how to submit Box Tops clips at BTFE.com/submit.

Give Back Nights

One easy way we raise money for McKinley is through Give Back Nights! It’s as simple as grabbing dinner or a snack, from one of our participating restaurants on a scheduled Give Back Night, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to McKinley PTO.

For the 2026–2027 school year, we’ll be hosting Give Back Nights with Texas Roadhouse, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s. Be sure to follow us on social media and check our website for upcoming dates and details!

School Carnival

After missing out on our school carnival due to construction, we’re so excited to bring this favorite McKinley tradition back! We’re looking forward to getting everyone together for a fun-filled event for our students, families, and staff.

Putting on a carnival takes a lot of helping hands, and we’d love for you to be part of it! If you’re interested in volunteering, helping with planning, or getting involved in any way, email us and let us know! Megan Cable is on our Carnival Committee and will reach out with more information and ways you can help.

We can’t wait to bring the carnival back and make it a fun event for the whole McKinley family! 🎉

Penny Wars

Get ready for some friendly competition with Penny Wars! Students will compete to see which class can collect the most points while helping raise money for McKinley.

The best part? It’s not just about collecting pennies! Students can add silver coins and bills to other classes’ jars to take points away, making it a fun and strategic competition.

Candy Cane Grams

Spread a little holiday cheer with Candy Cane Grams! Students will have the opportunity to purchase a candy cane and send a special note to a friend, teacher, or staff member at McKinley.

It’s a fun and simple way to brighten someone’s day while helping raise money for our school! All proceeds go toward supporting McKinley students, teachers, and school activities.

Playground Equipment

PTO funds help provide and improve playground equipment, giving our students more opportunities to play, be active, and enjoy their time outside. We’re proud to invest in spaces that make recess fun and engaging for our students!

Teacher Appreciation

We love finding ways to show our teachers and staff just how much they are appreciated! PTO funds help us provide special treats, celebrations, and thoughtful surprises throughout the school year.

Retirements 

We’re thankful for the years of dedication our retiring staff members have given to McKinley. PTO helps us celebrate and recognize these special milestones.
