WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY?
The International Thespian Society is an honor society for high school and middle school theatre students. It recognizes theatre programs across the globe, McHi Theatre being one of them as Troupe #6126.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOINING THE INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY?
Students who are inducted get the benefits of the opportunity to get scholarships and grants, awards, and are invited to attend the annual Texas Thespians State Festival.
HOW CAN I GET INDUCTED?
The International Thespian Society (ITS) runs on a point-based system. To become a Thespian, a student must earn 10 points. Five of those points should be acquired at the school where they are to be inducted. ITS members are expected to be apart of, or help out in any way with, every show within their high school career.
