Other Thoughts:

In this project, I utilized a lot of extruding to get the main body of the chest. I also made use of bridging, the create polygon tool, and the multi-cut tool a lot for some of the smaller details. Getting the main body did not take too long, but more of the smaller details like the lock and bolts on the outside took a good amount of time. It is also much easier working with a box than with a curved surface as I have learned from my different experiences between the base of the chest and the lid. Lastly, I had the most trouble with the lock. Beveling was fine to get the curve at the bottom, but I could not figure out how to change the top correctly. Extruding also did not work as I expected it to and therefore the shape of the lock is the biggest difference between the reference chest and my modeled chest.
