The purpose of the McGlynn Middle School PTO is to provide a bridge between home and school. This shall be accomplished through parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators working together in a cooperative environment to enhance and enrich the educational experience of all students attending the McGlynn Middle School. The McGlynn PTO will provide resources for educational, social, and recreational needs, and promote open communication among and between all members of the McGlynn community.
The McGlynn PTO shall not endorse a political candidate.
The McGlynn PTO does not discriminate base on race, color, gender, sex, religion, citizenship, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, martial status, genetics, and ability or any other characteristic protected by law of students, parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in the McGlynn Middle School, or teachers or administrators assigned to the McGlynn Middle School and employed by the Medford Public School.

The McGlynn PTO will hold a minimum of FIVE (5) regular meetings a year. The Executive Committee is responsible for determining the time and location of the meeting. Notices of the meetings and their agenda will be posted on the MMS website. Notice of the meetings will also be communicated to members via multiple means, included but not limited to social media and hard copy flyers or email lists.
All parents/guardians of students who currently attend the McGlynn Middle School and all current faculty and staff are members of the McGlynn PTO and have voting rights at the general meeting. members may attend all McGlynn PTO meetings, stand for election and act as committee members. All McGlynn PTO members agrees to comply with the guidelines established by the Bylaws.
