BORROWER’S CARD
Borrower’s card is your permit to use the Library. You must have a borrower’s card to be able to take out library materials for home reading. It is issued to students every semester upon enrollment and to faculty, staff, alumni and others after paying a required deposit fee or research fee (whichever is applicable).
This card is presented each time a library book or material is borrowed or returned. The borrower’s card must also be presented when applying for library clearance.
NOTE: All library users are required to fill out the log in/log out form every time they enter and go out of the library. They should leave their bags and personal belongings at the designated area. Only laptop, notebook and other valuables are allowed to be brought inside the library.
LIBRARY USERS
Students who are officially enrolled, faculty and staff may use the library upon presentation of borrower's card issued by the librarian.
Part-time faculty and staff who wish to borrow books for home reading shall pay a deposit fee of P300.00 per semester (salary deduction). This is refundable by the end of the semester upon clearance.
Alumni and former faculty and staff may use the library upon the recommendation of the academic dean and approval of the librarian. They are issued a special borrower’s card which entitles them to free use of the library for one week per semester; after which they have to pay a research fee of P20.00 a day. To borrow books for home reading or take out materials from the library, they have to pay a deposit fee of P200, refundable upon return of the books.
Private researchers or students from other schools may use the library upon presentation of a valid office or school ID and referral letter from the office’s head or school’s librarian. They are issued a special borrower’s card upon payment of a research fee of P20.00 a day. They are not allowed, however, to borrow books for home reading or to take out materials from the library.

Circulation books read inside the library must be placed on the “Books for Shelving” Area. Let the librarian or the students assistants do the task of shelving books to make sure they are returned in the right places.
Loaned books must be returned to the librarian at the loan desk. Don’t just leave the books at the counter. You may also put the books together with your borrower’s card in the designated drop box at the loan desk.

Only SAs and librarians are allowed to put books back on the shelves. Books that have been used should be left on the “books for shelving” table.

Some materials are for Room Use only. However, upon request of the faculty members, reserve books, serials, audio visual and other reference materials may be taken out of the library for classroom use for the duration of the class.
