Mission & Vision

Our vision is to ensure that we are equipped and able to instruct our users and stakeholders in the most efficient use of computerized resources, provide access to information resources in all formats, and support library technology with appropriate funding and personnel.

• Mission

The Messiah College Library’s mission is to provide support to the educational, leadership, and character development programs of Messiah College through an easy access and delivery of information services and resources to its students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni in support of teaching, learning, research, creative, and extension or mission functions of the Messiah College community.

• General Objectives

1. To build a collection and provide access to scholarly resources in generally accepted formats
2. To provide necessary facilities and user-centered services to support teaching, learning, research, creative and extension or mission functions of the Messiah College community.
3. To be the user’s first choice for quality information services and resources in fulfilling their educational needs and eventually, even their research needs.
4. To ensure stewardship of Messiah College’s intellectual property and assets.
