STEP 1: Learn What it Means to Be A Lion

The McFarland Lioness are known for working closely in our local community on a variety of volunteer service projects and fundraising projects to support our donations to local organizations.  Club members also build new friendships through social events and our monthly meetings.

As a Lion, you will:

• Help our community.

• Make an impact of people’s lives both locally and internationally.

• Receive the satisfaction of giving back while having fun.

STEP 2: Come to a Meeting & Get to Know Us

The McFarland Lioness meet the 2nd Tuesday of the Month* at the Maple Tree Supper Club, 6010 U.S. Hwy 51 in McFarland.  

*Exceptions: We do not meet in July and August. Our November meeting is our Holiday Auction held on the 2nd Monday of November.

Members often meet early at 5:15 p.m. for a social time and enjoy an optional soup and salad bar with or without the pre-selected entree at 6:00 p.m. prior to the meeting.  As a first-time guest, your meal is paid for by the club. 

The meeting begins at 6:30pm with a member sharing “Words of Inspiration” and everyone is invited to say the Pledge of Allegiance and sing America (My Country 'Tis of Thee). The special program or activity varies from meeting to meeting (often an outside speaker), and club business is discussed as appropriate. Members often bring in-kind donations to meetings (for local organizations highlighted each month) and also a few dollar bills (to participate in optional fun opportunities to support our club, e.g., money raffle, games).
