Montmorency Bridge Club
Welcome to the website of the Montmorency Bridge Club.
This website began during the early weeks of COVID lock-downs in 2020! Accordingly, various members wondered whether we could provide some bridge-playing activities, given that we couldn't group together in our usual venue.
Now, the primary goals of our website are to provide the weekly results and to keep members up-to-date with occasional club activities and news. During 2026, we are trialing bridge scoring software which includes a facility which enables direct emailing of scores to all players, and so this website is being used less regularly.
New folk to the area are welcome to contact the Club (see email address below) if they are interested in joining a friendly group of locals who finish up each year with a social evening close to Christmas.
The website could also serve other purposes such as : –
tips and general discussion of challenging hands, an interesting board from last week, and so on. A beginning in this direction has been provided by some input from Geoff and Lucille.

personal news (only with member's consent, but useful to obtain an update on 'who is doing what and where' during any absence, or to report on the progress of those who are absent due to injury/ illness and so on – again only with direct personal consent)
Members may have other suggestions as to possible uses of the website.
The public pages of the website do not contain club location or contact details (other than our email address) so that we can retain a degree of control over unexpected 'drop-in' visitors, given that we have limited facilities and equipment.
