WHS Drama performed The Wizard of OZ. I created an entire projection system of 5 projectors to map the walls of the auditorium with image and videos throughout the show. These helped immerse the audience in the world created on stage and helped bring the show to life. On top of this, the wizard himself was done with real-time motion capture and projected onto the stage. This project was a dream of mine, many years in the making and I'm so glad to have been able to do this.
All the projected elements were set up ahead of time and mapped to the walls very carefully to ensure elements lined up just right. During show, I had a controller to switch between each scene and control the effects that were run live. The real-time motion capture was fed from a live camera on stage to my computer for processing to turn the actor for the wizard into a larger than life head projected on the stage.
Commercial project shoot for the play, That's Emma. I shot and edited, under the direction of Kelly Gregersen, the commercial segments for his upcoming show, That's Emma. These are the final results for each commercial. All actors in the commercials are performers in the play themselves.
