Landscape Committee
Landscape Committee
The Landscape Committee is responsible for coordinating efforts to keep our common areas looking beautiful. Johnny Johnson heads up this committee.
Please reach out to the board if you are interested in helping out with this committee and we will put you in contact with Johnny.
The wall along the Bois d'Arc corridor is a major project for the Capital Improvements Committee to oversee. Robert Taylor currently leads the special Wall Committee for this project. Construction began on phase I of the wall (between Courtney Lane and the Mary Will Craig Park) and was recently completed in 2020.

The members of this committee are charged with bringing to the board a prioritized listing of issues that they believe need addressing. The board then considers the recommendations relative to what would be required and the funding or funding options available.
We are currently seeking volunteer residents to join the Capital Improvements Committee (CIC), as two of the committee members, Ruben Bretado and Cathy Collins, have now taken positions on the Board of Directors. Please email mayfairestates.hoaboard@gmail.com if you would like to join the CIC.

Jolene Mayfield heads this committee. Daniel Cowpersmith works as our seasonal Pool Helper. Upcoming renovations to the pool and tennis area include:
- Ground cover underneath the main shade structure.
- Replacing the pool coping and decking.
- New picnic tables.
Architectural Control
Architectural Control
The Architectural Committee reviews any improvements or changes made by HOA members to their properties in order to maintain compliance with the HOA covenants, restrictions, and by-laws.

The nominating committee serves for a full year from October through September and provides a slate of nominees for vacant positions on the board of directors.
We encourage any HOA Member who is interested in applying for Candidacy on the Board of Directors, or in simply understanding what the HOA Board does and how it operates to reach out to the HOA Board.
