Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I grew up spending my summers swimming in lakes and rivers with my family. My love for the water has flowed into a deep passion for the environment.  

As a recent graduate at the University of Oregon my interests lay at the intersection of environmental protection and public health. I am majoring in Environmental Studies and Planning, Public Policy and Management and will graduate Spring of 2025. My academic expertise includes environmental education, climate change mitigation and adaptation, GIS, and sustainable urban planning. I am also fluent in Japanese and during summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to intern at a nonprofit in Tokyo working to address homelessness and housing insecurity. 

Over the course of my time at the University of Oregon I have developed skills in written and oral communication, research, teamwork and collaboration, organization, and teaching. When I graduate I hope to work in the fields of environmental education, environmental planning, and public health.
