Nests

Parrot Housing:

While Quaker parrots build nests most parrot species do not. Instead when it is mating season they will use find hollow spots in trees. Some species have even been known to make a nest in a termite mound. Others find holes in cliff faces to build a nest. The nests are set up to protect the eggs, and baby parrots from predators until they are able to take care of themselves.
