Baseline / Ordinate

 Baseline and ordinate dimensioning are different methods of putting measurements on a print.  Baseline method uses an object or extension line on one end of the part to dimension other object lines to.  Ordinate method uses a point that is typically in the center or corner of the part, and measures everything in terms of the feature's distance from that point.
