In the tidepools and kelp forests I shoot with an Olympus TG6 and EM10-iv respectively. I started taking pictures just to capture memories and identify species during my adventures, but I soon got hooked! I'm especially interested in macro subjects and fish portraits. I think fish are particularly expressive, and my goal is to capture their unique personalities.
In 2025 I won first place in the beginner macro unrestricted category at the Monterey Shootout. My winning photo depicted a small, transparent red-eyed medusa the size of my thumbnail drifting in the water column.
