So your child goes to Mawbey and you want to get involved but you don't know where to start?! You're in luck! This is the page for you! Our school thrives when families, staff, and the community come together! There are so many ways—big and small—that you can help make a difference for our students. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your support matters!

1. Join the PTO

Becoming a PTO member is the first step in staying connected and informed. There’s no extra time commitment required—just your voice, your ideas, and your support! A flyer went home at the beginning of the year to join. You can also find the flyer here in the documents section of our site. You can also join and pay online through Cheddar Up. CLICK HERE to join online. 

2. Become a Class Parent

Help coordinate classroom events, chaperone class trips, and support your child’s teacher throughout the school year. Class parents play a huge role in building community in each classroom! Flyers were sent home and are posted here as well. You must be a paid PTO member in order to become a class parent. 

3. Volunteer When You Can

From helping at events to lending a hand with behind-the-scenes prep, we always welcome an extra set of hands. Even one hour makes an impact!

5. Join Our Box Tops for Education Program

Every little bit adds up! Download the Box Tops app, scan your receipts, and help us raise funds for school programs and supplies.
