This section provides the story board handouts and the cheat sheets. The story board may be of great use if you are willing to narrate a story. The cheat sheets which may be useful to you when doing photography.
Hereby is attached the story board handouts. If you want to narrate any story, please use the story board below and send us by mail.
TASK: Create an A4 cheat sheet of camera angles, camera shots and/or camera movement. You can work in pairs or individually.
Decide on what element you want to cover:-
(a) camera shots and angles,
(b) camera movements and angles, or
(c) camera shots, movements and angles.
Decide on how you are going to create the images - photographs of people/toys, drawings.
Each shot/angle/movement must have:-
(a) clear focused appropriate image,
(b) label,
(c) explanation of the meaning created through its use.
Your work must have a title and be presented clearly.
You must include all the camera shots, camera angles and/or camera movement listed below (from left to right):
- Extreme long/establishing, High Angle, Pan left
- Long, Low Angle, Pan right
- Medium/Mid-shot, Eye level, Arc
- Close up, Bird’s Eye, Dolly Zoom
- Big Close-up, Worm’s Eye, Track forward
- Extreme Close-up, Dutch Tilt, Track back
- Medium-Long shot, Rule of thirds, Whip pan
- Aerial, No angle , Zoom
- Over the Shoulder Shot, No angle, Crane
- Point of View, No Angle, Tilt up
- Sequence Shot, No angle, Tilt Down
- Two shot, No angle, Crab left
- Locked Down, No angle, Crab right
