T1 Diams

T1 Diams is an NGO who supports people living with Type 1 diabetes. It was created in 2005 and now has 10 staff members looking after 290 beneficiaries ranging from children, students, adults and old persons from 14 months to 78 years old.

T1 Diams has for objectives to:

• Improve the lives of those suffering from this type of disease and communicate them with useful and up-to-date information,

• Help families as a whole to manage the disease,

• Provide updated information to members of the medical and paramedical corps with the collaboration of national and international experts,

• Organize fundraising for the achievement of our various objectives.

To work towards the achieving the above-mentioned goals, the NGO provides activities such as:

• Therapeutic education,

• Medical material,

• Social integration,

• Specialised consultations,

• Interventions for SAC (Advances Complication Stage).
