M Kids is a non-governmental organisation established with the view to alleviate extreme poverty and helping children in difficulty. Since its opening in 2002, it has managed to build a family of 30 dedicated staff members & helpers and 75 beneficiaries, within which, 25 are vulnerable families in Mauritius, 15 families in Rodrigues, 25 primary children with learning difficulties and 10 secondary students.
M Kids has for objectives to:
Working to have a country with zero hungry, thus we give free meals to the homeless and the vulnerable families.
Promoting a safe and healthy population by organising free screening, blood donations and seminars related to health.
Protecting the environment is it on land or in the sea is part of our agenda.
Preach about peace and social stability while working in close collaboration with institutions dealing with issues which are threats to social harmony.
Promote gender equality & preach a lot about gender equity; help women to emancipate and we empower those who are deprived of education and rights.
Increase literacy rate by sponsoring some students for their tender age.
Cater for remedial classes for the less fortunate.
Preach about human rights and make them known to the fellow individuals.
Eradicate social evils like drug addiction and drug trafficking by doing awareness campaigns.
Promote arts and culture by organising an array of activities like culinary competitions or open-air drawing competition and more other.
Support and encourage the use of technology by giving crash course on ICT.
Participate and give advice of the importance of family life: We explain to people how to protect family ties.
Check on and to assist victims or less fortunate people, especially the elders of the society.
Provide psychological services and counselling to beneficiaries.
Humanitarian Charitable Mission in Madagascar, Rodrigues, Syria, Bangladesh, Burma, India and Yemen.
To work towards accomplishing its above-mentioned goals, M Kids offers the following amazing activities:
The Monthly Basic Foodstuff Programme to 60 families,

Medical Assistance to Vulnerable Elderly Programme.
