Mattia Borsati

Welcome to my personal webpage!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Econometrics, Statistics, and Applied Economics (Public Policies section) at the University of Barcelona, where I am a member of the Governments and Markets and the Public Policy Analysis and Evaluation Observatory research groups. I am also an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona Institute of International Studies.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the GREEN Research Center at Bocconi University. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the University of Trento.

I am an Applied Economist with broad research interests in transport economics. My research focuses on competition between transport modes, the impacts of transport infrastructure, and the external costs of transportation, with particular emphasis on environmental issues.
