👻Ghost Stories in Film and Literature 👻
At Jefferson High School, I had the great honor and privelege to develop and design an English Elective class called "Ghost Stories in Film and Literature." Below are some highlights of the curricula. I would like to mention special thanks to my aweseome colleagues Ms. Persephone Bailey and Diego Meredith-Marquez for develeping and teaching the class with me. I'd also like to thank the administration of Jefferson High School for creating such an amazing opportunity. While on the surface, Ghost Stories is a class that afforded me the opportunity to show cool, scary films to students, it also served as a conduit to ask the BIG questions about life and death. As such, I'd like to thank all of the students, 9-12th grade, "high" achieving and none, students enrolled in SPED, as well as Emerging Multilinguals, for their amazing work and insights!
