Hi, my name is Matthew Metzger and I was born and raised in Sacramento California. I am a graduate from Sacramento State who got their Bachelor's degree in English.  I had the opportunity to present the findings from the research that I conducted with my classmates in my professional writing class. I also am working as an intern for Sacramento State and the current tasks that I was assigned was how to apply the Writing Handbook. 

I wanted to apply my writing skills in the field of Technical Writing. The reason why I am interested in this field is because I enjoy writing about technical subjects and I am genuinely interested in applying research methodology .
