Kaiju Faithful 

In the city of Philadelphia, monsters from the holy texts of various religions have been appearing and wreaking havoc. When the monsters attack, they have been yelling a single word at their victims: Believe!

Five teenagers from the world’s largest religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, have been contacted by a power referring to itself as the Beginning. The Beginning has granted these young people the powers of various heroes from their respective religions. It has also given them ability to call upon a mech connected to the story of the hero they draw their powers from. The Beginning has instructed these chosen five that in addition to using their powers to physically fight the monsters to save people’s lives, they also need to save peoples’ souls by showing them that their religion is the one path to peace and salvation.

As the heroes are discovering their powers, a strange warrior in futuristic armor has been appearing whenever the monsters attack. These heroes will have to discover how to save the city, uncover the role of the futuristic warrior, and explore why the Beginning has given them all powers and told them that bringing others to their religion is the only way to save the people of Earth.

Heroes clash with monsters, mechs battle kaiju, teenagers attempt to their find their place, both in the context of their religion, others’ beliefs, and their community, all with the lives and souls of a city and perhaps the world in the balance!
