DESCRIPTION
Matteo Hall’s legislative career includes service as a United States Representative for California’s 49th District and Illinois’ 5th District. He later served as a U.S. Senator for both California and Ohio.
During his time in the Senate, Hall held important leadership positions such as Senate Majority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, Senate Majority Whip, and President Pro Tempore of the Senate. In these roles, he influenced major legislation on national security, economic policy, and environmental reform.
Hall is known for his ability to work across party lines and build consensus on difficult issues. His legislative work focuses on promoting clean energy initiatives and strengthening the economy through innovation and fair policies.
He also served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House, contributing to the legislative process from both chambers of Congress.
