Matteo Hall is an American military veteran, lawyer, politician, and businessman who has served in many high-profile government roles throughout his career. He is currently an Independent. Hall has served as United States Attorney General four times, Secretary of Homeland Security, White House Counsel, and White House Chief of Staff twice. He was a United States Senator for California and Ohio and held leadership roles including Senate Majority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, Senate Majority Whip, and President Pro Tempore of the Senate. He has also served as a U.S. Representative for California’s 49th District and Illinois’ 5th District.

Hall was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 24, 1978. He studied Political Science at Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.

After graduating, Hall served 20 years in the U.S. Army, including time as a Captain in the 75th Ranger Regiment. He later served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. During his military career, he took part in combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as humanitarian operations such as disaster relief.

Following his military service, Hall moved into public service and law. He served as a United States Magistrate Judge and Federal Judge in the District of Columbia before being nominated and confirmed as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court in 2023 and again in 2024. He also served as Chief of Naval Operations and Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and held positions within the intelligence community, including Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Legal Counsel for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

In the private sector, Hall founded and leads several companies. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Soup & Associates Law and Soup Discord Investigations, both started in 2023. He founded The Lockheed Martin Corporation in 2023, where he serves as CEO. Hall also founded Suburbia Solutions in 2014 and Soup Family Peanuts Incorporated in 2022, acting as Commander and CEO, respectively. In 2024, Hall held several executive roles at The Boeing Company, including Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer, and President of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

Throughout his career, Hall has been known for his strong leadership, dedication to public service, and commitment to clean energy and economic reform. His experience spans military, judicial, legislative, executive, intelligence, and business fields.
