Matteo Gallone

I am a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) in Mathematical Physics at the Mathematics Department "Federigo Enriques" of the University of Milan.

My scientific interests span between Theoretical Physics, Mathematical Physics and Mathematical Analysis. In particular, I am interested in physical and mathematical questions arising from classical, quantum and statistical mechanics. In particular, my research activity is devoted to

• Operator theory (self-adjointness, spectral theory);

• Hamiltonian perturbation theory (mainly with focus on systems with many degrees of freedom in the statistical mechanics setting);

• Critical properties of statistical mechanics models;

• Ground states of nonlinear PDEs.
