Matteo Gallone

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Mathematical Physics in the Geometry and Mathematical Physics Group of Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) in Trieste (Italy) where I work in the team of prof. Marcello Porta.

My scientific interests are mainly in the area of Mathematical Physics. In particular:

• Self-adjointness problem for quantum Hamiltonians (Dirac operators, Schrödinger with zero-range or singular interaction, Schrödinger operators in Grushin-type manifolds);

• Spectral properties of quantum Hamiltonians;

• Hamiltonian perturbation theory (Normal forms, Fermi-Pasta-Ulam problem);

• Dynamics of systems with many degrees of freedom;

• Renormalisation group;

• Prethermalization in classical and quantum systems.
