Matteo Gallone

I am a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) in Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematics "Federigo Enriques" of the University of Milan.

My research lies at the interface of Theoretical Physics, Mathematical Physics and Mathematical Analysis, with a focus on problems arising from classical, quantum and statistical mechanics. 

More specifically, my work focuses on

• Quantum Mechanics and Operator theory;

• Hamiltonian perturbation theory (mainly with focus on systems with many degrees of freedom in the statistical mechanics setting);

• Critical properties of statistical mechanics models;

• Ground states of nonlinear PDEs.
