My family describes me as thoughtful, optimistic, selfless, energetic, uplifting, and driven. A few things I enjoy include classic rock music, popcorn, board and card games, playing the piano, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my wonderful, exciting family. 

I was born in Provo, Utah in 1996. I am the oldest child so I was the kid who made my parents into parents! On my dad's side, I am also the oldest grandchild, and one of the oldest grandchildren on my mom's side. It's a very fun role to play in my family!

I have five younger siblings. After me are twin brothers, two sisters, and a youngest brother. All are married except the youngest, who is a senior in High School. Two of my sister-in-laws are expecting their first child!

I went to elementary school in Spanish Fork, Utah, and have many fond memories of my earlier childhood there. Later, my family moved to Frisco, Texas when I was 12 years old. I quickly grew to call Texas my home and still miss it there.

In high school, I took American Sign Language, and so I fell in love with and became very involved in the deaf community! I graduated high school as part of the ASL Honor Society.

I also taught beginner piano lessons throughout my years in High School to kids in my neighborhood. This was the cover of one of my student's lesson notebooks!

I graduated from Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas in 2014!

I earned my Associate's Degree in General Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I loved attending my first college years there.

While at BYU-Idaho, one of the most fun things that I did was volunteering as a swing dance and lift instructor for dance nights!

I took a break from college to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Irvine, California. I learned so many lifelong lessons while serving there.

Since being married to Matt, he and I have combined our love of music and have performed together for weddings, restaurants, and events!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University in 2020 and immediately began teaching.

My first year teaching was at Daniels Canyon Elementary teaching Kindergarten! I will forever remember all 22 of my cute little kinders.

After that first year, I began teaching math at Timpanogos Middle School. This is my fourth year teaching math there, having taught both 6th and 7th grade. My middle schoolers may not be quite as cute as my kinders, but I love each one of them just the same!

In addition to being a pianist, I am also a Certified Piano Technician (CPT), capable of tuning, repairing, voicing, and regulating pianos!

My favorite place to visit is my grandparents and their property in Star Valley, Wyoming. Since Matt and I live in Heber City now, we're much closer so we can visit them more often!
