About Matsuyama JALT
Matsuyama JALT is one of the 32 chapters in Japan. JALT is an abbreviation of the Japan Association for Language Teaching. It is an organization which aims to learn and teach to learn. In other words, we are involved in all aspects of language education, especially English education.
Matsuyama JALT holds its required six meetings a year in either of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, (August and September no meetings due to summer breaks) October, and December. Usually we hold the meeting on the third Saturday (face-to-face) or Sunday (online).

Matsuyama Jalt Condolences
Matsuyama JALT member Pak Man Au "Jeff" (Ehime University) passed away the other day.
His loss will be felt by many. We will continue to celebrate his personality and his contributions to JALT in many places.

Matsuyama JALT has Ko en meigi Endorsement from Matsuyama City and the Matsuyama City Board of Education for ALL its events from October 2022 to March 2025!
What is Ko en meigi?
Explanation on the Jalt2022 conference homepage:
A koen meigi is a letter of endorsement from a government body, media group or organization that sees merit in a program or event that is being held by another organization. This letter is offered as a way to increase visibility and raise the status of the event in the eye of the general public. The organization sending the koen-meigi generally has no financial interest in or legal responsibility for the event.
