I bring 30 years of experience in education as a mathematics teacher, learning support teacher, and instructional coach. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across Grades K–9 in rural, urban, multicultural, and Indigenous educational contexts. Much of my work has focused on supporting struggling learners, identifying barriers to student success, and using assessment evidence to guide targeted intervention.
I also bring firsthand experience with MathMap. My school division implemented the platform, giving me the opportunity to use it with students and observe both its strengths and its implementation challenges in a real educational setting. This experience allows me to evaluate MathMap from two distinct perspectives: as an educator who understands its users’ needs and as a potential investor assessing its market potential, scalability, implementation risks, and long-term value.

My firsthand experience with MathMap provides a valuable lens for evaluating both its educational value and its potential as a scalable venture.
