I encourage every student to work hard, stay curious, ask questions, and always give their best effort. Together, we will build confidence in math and grammar while learning, growing, and celebrating each success along the way. As I teach new skills and strategies throughout the year, I also look forward to learning from my students, whose unique ideas and experiences will enrich our classroom every day.

By 5th and 6th grade, students should know their basic multiplication and division facts as easily as they know their own name. If they’re not there yet, a quick 5–10 minutes of practice at home each night can make a big difference. Building this fluency now will help them feel more confident and make the rest of math much easier.
