As of 2024, I'm an FCT Junior Researcher at LanCog, Centre of Philosophy, University of Lisbon. Previously, I held research positions at LOGOS (Barcelona), Valencia Philosophy Lab (València), and UNICAMP (Campinas). I obtained my PhD at LOGOS in June 2020, supervised by Manuel García-Carpintero. Three years of my research were part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie DIAPHORA project (coordinated by Sven Rosenkranz), one year was supported by a CNRS assistant researcher fellowship in Paris. Apart from my time in Barcelona, I spent a year at the Institut Jean Nicod and Collège de France (Paris) working with François Recanati, and a couple of months at Stockholm University working with Kathrin Glüer and Peter Pagin.
My work has been on topics at the crossroads of the philosophy of language, mind, and epistemology. I have written about de se attitudes, communication, Frege's Puzzle, the shareability of thoughts, and iconicity/diagrams. Recently, I've been puzzling myself with the interplay of indexicality, (self-)consciousness and the epistemology of self-locating belief. Feel free to contact me if you've also been thinking about Lewisian gods, Perrian amnesiacs, Jacksonian neuroscientists, and Sleeping Beauty.
