You are required to attend two seminars during the semester. After each, you will write a reflection on your experience and submit it on Gradescope. Please do not summarize the content of the seminar. Instead, you could write about the following.
What did you find interesting in the talk? Did you learn something new? Was the speaker engaging?
How did you see Mathematics being used? Was anything related to our course?
Did you understand the talk? It's okay if not!
What feelings do you have around the topic? What feelings do you have around the seminar setting itself?
Are you interested in learning more?
I recommend writing a reflection very soon after attending a seminar, so that your thoughts and feelings are fresh. Your reflection will likely be two or three paragraphs.
