We can help you with your course schedule, choosing classes, finding student aid, study skills, personal counseling, food or housing assistance, locating and using sources for an essay - you name it, we have someone who can help.

Canvas Assistance

New to Canvas? Check out the Canvas help for students or the Canvas student guide. Support is available for Canvas 24/7. You can also call Canvas for help at 1-844-592-2205. If it is a weekday when the college is open, you can contact the Cuyamaca College Help Desk through email at c-helpdesk@gcccd.edu. They will get back with you right away.

Parking Lot Wi-fi

If you struggle with wi-fi access at home, you can get FREE wi-fi access at both Cuyamaca and Grossmont. Get more information for the wi-fi at Cuyamaca and the wi-fi at Grossmont.

Cuyamaca Cares!

Cuyamaca Cares is a program that offers many opportunities for help with food, housing, and personal counseling. There is food pantry on campus as well as housing assistance if you are having trouble finding a place to stay. If you have a specific need, please email Kaylin Rosal (cuyamaca.cares@gcccd.edu).

Trans and Gender Nonconforming

We have a website dedicated to Trans and Gender Nonconforming support. On this you can have your preferred name as well as your pronouns changed on Canvas so instructors have this immediately available. Information on gender neutral bathrooms is also available. We are here for you!

Counseling

To schedule an appointment with a Counselor, please have your student ID number and birth date.

There are 15-minute virtual drop-in appoints, comprehensive 1-hour appointments, and the opportunity to submit a question that will be answered via email. Go to Talk with a Counselor for more information.
